Band Bio: 3canal, one of Trinidad’s leading bands came together in 1997 under the genre of Rapso. Their name derives from the machete, which was used by farmers to clear the ground for planting. Rapso the Power of the Word in the Riddem of the Word is music to educate & entertain
3canal have a discography of 10 Albums, the latest being JOY+FIRE Jan 09.
They are also producers of their own annual musical production -The 3canal Show- a multi-disciplinary performance event with groups of young artistes in a Performance Workshop Lab
3canal has toured extensively most recently to London ’08; Belgium ’08; Manosque, France 08; Womex Sevilla, Spain 2007.
3canal are Rapso Soldiers on a mission to spread the message of Truth Love and Possibility.
