Band Bio: A fusion of "tactile" & "dactylics", Tactylics is a New York-based, funk-rock band dedicated to making music people can feel—combining rich lyrics, melodic hooks, and hard-hitting grooves to produce a powerful rock sound steeped in funk. With New Jersey roots, the band has garnered attention on the local NYC scene, performing at the coveted "From the Penthouse: Artist Loft Series" at Tainted Blue Studios in October 2008. Tactylics was also named winner of the International Music Festival for the NYC market in March 2009. The band recently finished production of its debut EP, “The Guilty Pleasures Prototype” (independently released in August 2009).
