Band Bio: A fusion of the words "tactile" and "dactylics", Tactylics is a New York-based, funk-rock band dedicated to making music people can feel--combining rich lyrics, melodic hooks, and hard-hitting grooves to produce a powerful rock sound steeped in funk. With New Jersey roots, the group is quickly garnering attention on the local NYC scene, having performed at the coveted "From the Penthouse: Artist Loft Series" at Tainted Blue Studios in October of 2008. Tactylics was also named winner of the International Music Festival for the New York market in March of 2009.
