Band Bio: Since being chosen as the UK's most inspired unsigned band by Radio 1 listeners & Rob Da Bank, The Chancers have enjoyed some fantastic and inspirational support slots including; Roy (THE VIBE) Ayers, The Peas, New Master Sounds, Scratch Perverts & The Cuban Brothers as well as regular slots at the Isle of Wight Festival and Bestival. Hailing from the Isle of Wight, The Chancers were brought together out of a love for live music and a (so far successful) project to keep the Island's theatres and music venues open and alive. Taking raw, organic soul and seamlessly blending it with infectious melodies and harmonies to create their own distinct musical flavour, The Chancers have already made a name for themselves with their sensational live performances which have grown to incorporate a horn section and d.j. With some encouraging sessions recorded with Paul Butler (The Bees / Devendra Banhart) under their belt, they are already enjoying transmission on foreign & local frequencies with a self-penned and recorded live album as well as embarking on new sessions for a debut studio long player.
