Band Bio: Started in the winter of 2007 by founding members Thor Fister (Lead Vocalist, and Acoustic Guitar), Shawn Garafa (Electric Guitar), and Lex Ford (Drums, Percussion, Vocals) as an outlet for musical expression and performance in the acoustic vein. As the music evolved it became necessary to add other members to fully express the synthesis that was happening. With the addition of James Malouf (Piano, Keys) the group was solidified and A Diary of Need was born. Collectively the members of A Diary of Need have played with bands such as Yes, Asia, Megadeath, Exodus, The Vandals, Thursday, The Gathering, Suicide City,Tub Ring, West Indian Girl, The Dreaming, Lights Resolve, The Flower Kings, etc.   Read Less »
