Band Bio: Anthony Rankin has stormed the music scene in recent years with a fiery brand of soul-driven rock and roll, built mightily upon his mature songwriting chops, mind-bending musicianship, and that unmistakable voice. With three independent albums under his belt, plus a handful of digital-only releases, Rankin is poised to break with his fourth effort (due early next year). His last CD offering, 2007's 'The Distance,' was heavily praised by regional press and supported nationally by Borders Books & Music, while his 2008 staple “Quicksand” has enjoyed frequent airplay on Pittsburgh radio.
