Band Bio: Since the 90’s, singer and composer, "Carioca" Arícia Mess, has mixed funk, soul, rock, samba and other Afro-Brazilian rhythms in an innovative and consistent body of work, having experimentalism as her registered trademark in the search of rhythms and sounds that permeate acoustic and electronic music, new sounds within the universe of black music. Her performances conquered a diverse audience, given the force, originality and artistic conception of the presentation.
In 2009, Arícia works on promoting the international release of an EP of unpublished songs and in presenting the prereleased, new album, "Onde Mora o Segredo," made up of songs included in this EP and other unpublished songs expected for the second half.
