Band Bio: Hailing originally from Yonkers New York, Indiana Jazz Hall of Fame guitarist Bill Lancton has been teaching and performing since 1973. Currently he heads up the Indianapolis based Bill Lancton Coalition, a seven piece jazz/funk organization that features Bill with three horns. In addition, he is a member of the IndyJazzFest All Star band, bringing Jazz to schools through sponsored concerts. Bill is also President of the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation, a NFP corporation promoting jazz in Indianapolis through education and performances.
