Band Bio: “Blue Jar combines the panache of Grappelli with Gypsy flamboyance, yet balances this passion with a dreamy, atmospheric classical sound”. With ‘Ducks and Geese' to their credit, their second album “Pelican Crossing” is currently on general release.
Since their first gig 2005-a Garden Party for H.R.H The Prince of Wales they have played at Greenbelt, Cork and Ealing Jazz Festivals, Marbella International Film Festival, Spain; WOMEX, Spain, MEI, Italy, and have signed a 3 year management and licensing deal with W.O.A International for India, the Middle East and Asia. They were on tour in Denmark with Go Global in Sept 08, and are now resident in Cyprus
