Band Bio: “These guys are the new generation of Funk music” - Bernie Worrell (Parliament/Funkadelic, Talking Heads, etc) from the stage after sitting in on a Booty Band version of Worrell's own "A Joyful Process" in Aspen, CO. Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band is a high energy party band with deep roots in Funk. Currently based out of Asheville, NC, they tour all over our fine nation. The band consists of Greg Hollowell on the saxophones , background vocals, and bongo fury; Derrick Johnson on the trombone and background vocals; J.P.
