Band Bio: Joseph "Church da Poet" is no stranger to the stage. Poet, spoken word artist, writer, composer, organizer and playwright. Church is the founder of "Black Poetry Theatre", the Co-Producer of the play "Black Poetry. He has toured all over the US. He's opened for the Father of Spoken word Saul Williams, Talaam Acey, Def Poets J.Ivy, Abyss, Redstorm, Georgia Me, Faraji Salem, John Goode, Sonya Sanchez and performed with The Experience (Cami Brown Shuga, & Kemet) , Dasan Ahanu, Apollo's Da Boogie Man, Queen Sheba, Marc Marcel, Gravity and many more.
