Band Bio: Daysleeper has been recently influenced by an array of underground artists who combine ambient and minimalist tones with retro and post-punk sounds. Despite Miami’s erratic music scene, Daysleeper has found a niche outside of the dance/club surroundings and has gravitated to an emerging and yet nebulous indie movement. Daysleeper thrives in the obscurity of its music, intertwined with an array of oblique and metaphorical lyrics; tracks commonly shift in rhythm and are accompanied by unique and nonconventional song structures and sounds.
