Band Bio: DEEP BLACK VOID is a dark power-pop rock band from southwest VA formed in late summer of '08. Their current line-up has only been together for about two months, but the musicians that make up Deep Black Void are no strangers to music or the music industry. David Smith, lead vocalist and guitarist, has been producing, mixing, and writing music for several years now. Andrew Carter, guitarist and backing vocalist, and Shane Boles, bass, have been in several bands before joining with Deep Black Void in September 08 and give the group a piece of their own creative/fun energy on stage and off. The newest addition to the band is drummer Brian Lytle, who was the balancing factor that Deep Black Void needed to continue the band’s journey.   Read Less »
