Band Bio: Distant 2nd is a hard rock back from North New Jersey, with influences ranging from Nine Inch Nails and Type O Negative to Spineshank and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The sound is intense and the lyrics tend to gravitate around philosophies on life and death. Distant 2nd originally formed as a one man band in 1998, with a wide range of music from instrumentals, to electronica to rock.
