Band Bio: Best known for his role as 1/5th of Philadelphia’s most prolific and well respected DJ/Production crew, Illvibe Collective, Mr. Sonny James aka Statik has toured frequently since 2001 as the stage-show DJ for International acts, Bahamadia, Mr. Lif, J-Live, and more. As a producer, he helped score the award winning film, Scene Not Heard, a film about women in Philly Hip Hop. Mr. Sonny James is supported internationally as a radio personality, stage show DJ, writer, turntablist, and selector.
