Band Bio: Though he's better known as a music journalist and house concert host, Drew has been performing in the SF music scene since he moved to California from Indiana in the late 80s. In 1995, he released a solo record, The Scattering Blue, which featured guest performances by Jim Brunberg and Jeff Pehrson of Box Set, James Lee Harris Jr and Lilly Gobeil of Patchwork and Will Johnson. His song, "Clear" received airplay on KFOG 104.5 FM. In 2002, he released Heat Change Vapor + Snow with Darrington, an acoustic quartet that included cellist Laura Loescher, guitarist Paul Boutin and percussionist Sage Cohen. He currently works as a contributing writer for Acoustic Guitar magazine and as a freelance publicist and promoter.
