Band Bio: Dulcimerhead: Dave Rankine (mountain dulcimer), Fernando Villalobos (percussion) and Daniela Godina (vocals). The music: an exciting original fusion of diverse influences ranging from rock to folk, indo-persian dance, even thrash metal.
Dave Rankine's unique songwriting and playing style betrays a love of Indian music, classic/progressive rock, and years of Celtic music via bagpiping.
Fernando Villalobos' show-stopping djembe style comes from years drumming in Toronto metal bands such as Heavily Medicated, Skorched, and currently No Assembly Required.
Daniela Godina’s powerful work as poet and vocalist gives the moving lyrics and sparks comparisons to Grace Slick, or "a female Jim Morrison."
