Band Bio: Ealisaid Entertainment℠ (ASCAP) is a subsidiary of Lizzdmc Productions℠, LLC, dedicated to creating, promoting, publishing, and managing entertainment venues, both local and international, for performing artists. We are members and publishers of The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). Our agenda includes bringing artists together for the production of live music and theater performances, studio recordings, independent works of film and television appearances. Baby Cat Records™ is our Indie Recording Label.
Ealisaid Entertainment℠ began in 2001, with Elizabeth “Lizz” Reeves (”Ealisaid” in Manx Gaelic), who has had an extensive background in music, radio and theater. In 1980, she was chosen to sing for The Year of The Child in Tucson, AZ, where President Ronald Reagan was the keynote speaker. At the University of Arizona Repertory Theater (UART), she appeared in productions of Godspell, The Apple Tree, Macbeth, Follies, Anne of the Thousand Days, and A View from the Bridge. Lizz also toured throughout the United States and Mexico with the Professional International Cast of Up With People for a period of one and a half years following her college graduation, and recorded Keeping in Touch for their 1985 album.
Lizz has lent her vocal and instrumental talents to many a band recording, as well as performed live with several rock and country bands, such as Silent Xchange, Twister, Special Effects, Second Hand Newz (Opened for the rock band Autograph on tour), The Saddle City Band (Featured on the TV show Highway to Heaven), and John E. Mann & The Country Kings (Single - Country Girl of Denver was a local hit on the country radio stations in Arizona). The release of her much awaited Latin single, Mujer Liberada, produced by Ealisaid Entertainment on the Baby Cat Records Label, received radio air play on the KLOV Latin Radio Station in Los Angeles, CA, and was performed live at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV.
She has been seen performing in various theater productions, such as Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Nuncrackers, The Odd Couple (Female Version), Somewhere in the Night - The Barry Manilow Songbook, Broadway Jukebox, The Taffetas and Nunsensations for Copperstate Productions; From Berlin to Brooks for the Arizona Jewish Theatre Company (Actors Equity), 2004-2005 AriZoni Theatre Awards Winner for Best Original Script of a Musical & Best Overall Production of an Original Contracted Musical; A Beautiful Noise - The Neil Diamond Songbook, 2004-2005 AriZoni Theatre Awards Winner for Best Overall Production of an Original Non-Contracted Musical, & Godspell for the Fountain Hills Community Theater; and A Grand Night For Singing and Hot ‘N Cole, directed and choreographed by Dee Dee Wood, for the Desert Foothills Theater.
In November 2005, Lizz returned from a concert tour of Italy, where she had an audience with Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican, and sang for the High Mass at St. Peters Basilica.
Current projects include the release of the soundtrack for the original musical, Suite Moms (2007). In addition, Lizz has appeared as a special guest and released a new Jazz CD album with the KD Quartet, Smooth, Sassy and Soulful (2007).
