Band Bio: Winner, Arts Foundation Songwriting Award 2009 A restless soul, Emily's songwriting career has evolved, naturally,into that of a recording artist. The driving force behind her appeal remains simple: taking a slice of real life & sharing with a melody you'll never forget. On stage,Emily finds herself at home, effortlessly balancing passionate & melodic storytelling with flashes of eccentricity between songs. In 2008 Emily, opened shows for Peter Doherty, Beth Rowley, Frank Turner and Gabriella Cilmi. In 2009 she toured for 6wks with Squeeze lyricist Chris Difford &performed at various UK festivals.
