Band Bio: Singer songwriter Flynn was the co-founder of the legendary Boston band Cliffs of Dooneen. After scoring a top ten radio hit and constant MTV exposure, a life altering accident forced Flynn to get off the road and slow down, which made changes to his musical direction. He returns with his fourth solo album The Answer's Not Enough. Flynn is joined on this recording by his good friends, critically acclaimed songwriters Ellis Paul and Antje Duvekot. After producing American Jukebox Fables (Rounder-Philo) for Ellis, they continued writing together, which led to several tracks on both of their records. Antje Duvekot, one of the fastest rising stars in the folk world, worked with Flynn both as a producer and co-writer. Antje co-wrote two of the songs and sings a stunning duet with him on the track "Breathless." Flynn's demanding schedule, which includes writing and recording for various film, TV and CD projects, has constantly kept him in the studio. Flynn took three years to complete this album, which he considers his most personal project. He said, “this was one of the most difficult and constantly evolving albums I've made to date." Flynn's profile of projects includes the title track (“Human”) to the Farrelly Brothers hit movie Stuck On You which Flynn recorded with Cher. He also wrote the title track to Julie Delpy and Justin Theroux’s movie The Legend Of Lucy Keyes. His musical dossier includes writing songs for the Broadway show Spider Man Live as well as numerous film documentaries covering everything from world skiing champion Bode Miller, Harvard University to the Senior Olympics to the plight of the Whale. His TV work includes songs on MTV Road Rules, CBS’s The Young And The Restless, ABC’s One life to Live and All My Children. The demands of Flynn's composing career paid dividends this year with an Emmy nomination for composing the theme of the NESN hockey reality show Be A Bruin.
