Band Bio: From the ashes and wreckage of the once thriving Washington DC Hardcore/Alternative/Indie scene ascends HeLO (pronounced 'hee-low'). In a city quagmired in bi-partisan greed and pork spending, there is no question that HeLO transcends the status quo and breathes a long over due breathe of life back into the DC music scene. HeLO is a high energy Alt/Indie ensemble based out of the Washington DC metro area. The band consists of John Ireland on Guitar and Vox, Ron Mitchell on Guitar and Vox, Soren Bakken on Bass and Vox and Drummer Malone on Drums and Vox.
