Band Bio: "Live Life To The Fullest, As You Only Have One Shot To Do It" Says New Inspiring Hip-Hop/R&B Artist Jigg Jangs, as we ask him, What motivated him to start doing music. "I was going thru a rough time n life, and needed a way out, then came along music. I have always loved music, listening to all types : rap, hip-hop, r&b, and rock.. just to name a few." Jigg Jangs grew up in a little tiny desert town called Rosamond, California. Which is at the North end of the Antelope Valley, or at the Southern part of Kern County if you may. "It's funny really, I never pictured myself doing music growing up, and to be truthful, I was probably even looked upon a little as a nerd." Laughing a little, he continued "I never really hung out with the 'Popular Crowd' as some call it, tho I did know everyone. I sort of just stuck to a little close group of people, the less trusted, the less shady i always thought." The group included his little brother Brandon aka Butch D, closest and longest known friend Jeff, and a few others including the homies, Anthony, and Devin.. "It's kind of cool actually, most of the time, you hear how Musicians changed and most don't talk to their old friends anymore. Fortunately I'm blessed to have most my old friends, still my friends and actually now big supporters of my music.. After JJ graduated high school... (04' BABY!!!) He moved down to the San Fernando Valley and stayed with his older brother Paul aka Paul DZ and older brothers' close friends... Manuel, and Alex. "It was crazy, i like moved down below and started working for Countrywide Home Loans," laughing.. "That place was like high school i swear, it was more of a place to get paid, work a little, and then just do whatever you wanted." "I can remember doing all sorts of crazy things when we shouldn't have been... Ahhhh the memories. Leaving early, taking half hour smoke breaks, long lunches... let alone all the Rated R stuff, I can't tell ya about... HaHa" After staying in the SFV for about two years, Jigg Jangs met the people who very well may have changed his future. JJ met rappers Ob2, Hydra, and Injust. Known as Lost Acknowledgies. "When I met Lost Ack, they invited me along to check out a few of there recording sessions. After that, I found out my true calling... Something in the Music Biz." In October of 2006, Ob2 introduced him to Reason 3 and Hydra showed him a little about Cool Edit Pro 2. "It was like i just needed someone to show me the gate, then i busted that S**t down." Continuing to Grind and Master his passion for making music, as well as engineering it. Jigg Jangs soon purchased his best investment, some studio equipment. "When you have your own studio equipment, its every artists dream. I can now do and practice as much as i want.. Haha given i keep my job and pay my bills." Now as Jigg Jangs gets ready to release his first commercial product, His EP. he begins to see more of what is ahead. "Whatever road is in store for me, the only way to find it, is to look, and to be a little honest, I'm tired of looking. It's now time, and I'm ready to get Minez..."
