Band Bio: Introducing KOA SIU, a dynamic artist and songwriter from Hawaii.
It’s not every day that you see a Hawaiian boy playing solid rock songs and singing mainstream-style ballads-- but then, KOA’s not your every-day musician. KOA’s voice cuts through the forest of competing sound to touch the listener deeply, right Where You Are.
In 1998, KOA began to define his own musical style with the release of Thirsty Life. In April of 2007 KOA released his long-awaited second album Where You Are which earned a 2008 Hoku Award for “Rock Album Of The Year” from the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts.
Koa currently resides in Sydney, Australia with his wife Sarah and children Kekoa & Kalea.
