Band Bio: While you can usually find the Kraft Quartet performing or recording as an instrumental group doing modern takes of classic blues, surf and rock tunes, more recently the members of the Kraft Quartet have been appearing as the Jumpin Salty Blues band with New York native Liz Edwards as vocalist. The Kraft Quartet is a group of alumni from the North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). Founded by Morgan Kraft, the group has featured Bryan Lipps, John Ellis, as well as the core members Lex Samu, Morgan Kraft and the Rast Brothers (Madison and Wesley). The earliest recordings date to 1994, their most recent album was released in 2009 "Boiled Peanuts" and includes 2 original songs by fellow school alumni Aaron Bachelder.   Read Less »
