Band Bio: Carlos Lorenzo aka “LOS” was born on September,07,1982,into a Dominican family. By the age of three he was listening to Spanish music and would sing all of the words to every song in spanish. As a child he grew up on the Westside of Harlem (Broadway),NY.Los became interested in hip -hop when he was nine when him and his friends would sit on the block and listen to the older guys freestyle and battle each other. He was inspired by music from Wutang Clan,Biggie,N.W.A,2pac and Jayz. So he started writing songs in his head. At age eleven he could battle and freestyle with the rest of them. At age sixteen he was offered a spec deal which included four songs but the label dropped him because A/R didn’t want to spend the money into developing him as an artist. After that he got caught up in the streets and put rapping on the shelf. He was then forced to reevaluate his life when his stepfather was killed in a raid and the had to help his mother cope wit this tragic situation. At the age of twenty-two he decided to move to Florida to try to change his life and so his kids could grow up in a better enviroment. Los went back and forth to NY until he had an incident happen where he was mistaken for someone else and then permanently stayed in Florida. He started to work on music again and continued to go to the studio. One day in the studio a local rapper introduced him to “Hydro” the head of Chronic Records and he was signed on the spot. Los says that he is mostly inspired by his Dominican roots and wants everyone to know that the Spanish community has a lot more to offer to the rap game then”reggagetone“. His first underground single and video “Don’t Give A F**’ off the Keep It Street album are blowing up on the streets. The second single “Make You Hate Me” features Yung Joc ,Remedy and Alyric and has everyone anticipating the “Keep It Street “ album featuring the whole Chronic Records roster
