Band Bio: Lower Lights Burning is the name Graydon and Michael Holden finally settled on after having been asked repeatedly what name to put on the bill when their friends asked them to play at a local pizza shop in their home town. it probably took so long to come up with in part because Graydon approaches most everything the same way- expecting to have depth and meaning in everything even if it's just having fun. a two-piece indie/folk-rock band from washington state. they formed officially when Michael started pressuring Graydon about the songs Graydon had been writing since highschool. they played briefly with a friend accompanying them on bass but since then they've been a simple band of guitar and drums. having been received quite positively they continued to play locally for a few years. in the last year they've moved to a more professional approach and are more actively booking shows. they're also in the process of recording a second album in 2009 after having released their self-title debut album in the winter of '07/'08   Read Less »
