Band Bio: Marla Guloien is a young Canadian artist who grew up in Vancouver Canada. Her love for music started when she was a small child. Inspired by her family's love for music, Marla engaged with music in all its forms. Her influences grew to include a diverse range of music from various genres such as pop, hip hop, folk, country, blues and soul. When she finally realized that music was a medium through which she could document her life, she began to channel her life’s journey through songwriting. After studying Communications for 8 years, Marla graduated in 2009 with her degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University. Focusing her studies on videography, film editing, graphic design and marketing, Marla is now leading the way in grassroots artist development. Her innovative ideas are inspiring and she is ready for the future. She is inspiring because she lives everyday with purpose. With an energy that is motivational and contagious, Marla will never cease to amaze you. After her debut concert was a sold out success, Marla is now preparing for 2010.
