Band Bio: For over 35 years Martin’s been touring his unique blend of traditional and contemporary music round the world. He’s toured with the best – The Chieftans, The Fureys, The Pogues and Christy Moore and others. Today’s Roisin has grown from an ongoing collaboration with Celtic guitarist, Leigh Birkett. The result: Highly original and innovative anthems with memorable hooks and subtle, but intriguing and unusual arrangements. Of course, there are still old favourites – all given the new treatment. Roisin still has a social conscience, but there is a very positive vibe in the air these days. The energy at a Roisin concert is palpable and the same emotional rollercoaster guarantees an intense and intensely enjoyable ride.
