Band Bio: Matthew's musical career seemed to accelerate at hyper speed following his induction into jam grass pioneers Blueground Undergrass in early 2005. He wrote a majority of the songs on Blueground's 2005 release “Faces”, an album that features jam greats Jimmy Herring and Col. Bruce Hampton. When Blueground decided to stop touring in 2008 Matthew formed a new group called The Granfalloons with some of his BGUG bandmates . The Granfalloons is an excellent portal for everything Matthew has to offer. He now averages over 200 shows per year, and continues to spread his heartfelt words as a songwriter.
