Band Bio: Since 2000, Mauricio OPAZO MUÑOZ shares his activities with the performing and conductor of guitar ensembles. His compositions for guitar and guitar orchestra, some of which have been performed in many countries by the author as well by other groups and soloists. Catalan Classical Guitarist Carles Pons has included my piece "Bolero para un Angel" on his new CD published by SHEVA Collection in 2008. Nowadays, Mauricio is leading a musical project in Chile “Ensemble PLECTRO” for research, performing and composing music including some Latinamerican plucked strings instruments relationed with the guitar. Next Nov, 25 in Athens will premiere my last composition for solo guitar "HOMENAJE" dedicated to memory of Mr. Dimitris Fampas.   Read Less »
