Band Bio: Mike Atkins is a world class entertainer currently residing in Austin, TX. He is a diverse pianist/keyboard player and vocalist that has been called upon to back up artists from almost every musical genre. Rock, reggae, pop, jazz, gospel, world beat, country, Mike has played it all. On September 19th 2009 he released his long awaited CD "...a walking shadow", an album that deals with loss and grief. Mike performs around the country as a 'sing along' piano player, A format he originally began performing in 1992. In March 2005, He performed overseas in Switzerland at the King Size Pub in Laussanne. He is currently doing this show in Austin at Pete's Dueling Pianos 5 nights a week.   Read Less »
