Band Bio: Oso [oh-soh] n. 1. Philadelphia Indie Groove Rock band. 2. Merges the drama of Bowie, the grooves of Sublime, and the epic sonic landscapes of Pink Floyd and Radiohead 3. A Spanish bear At the end of 2006, Michael Schaller moved from California home to Philadelphia to make music with his brother Steve Schaller, long time friend and bassist Mike Gordon, and drummer Josh Fullam. They spent a year writing and performing before getting started on their debut album, The Bellringer, which they recorded at their studio in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. A follow-up five-song EP chronicling the Schaller brother’s cross-country return to Philadelphia is due out in the fall of 2009.   Read Less »
