Band Bio: Out of the Rain is a folk duo noted for innovative arrangements and unusual expressive power. Although Ron Hipp has been well known in the Atlanta area as an accomplished solo singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist and Carol Statella has played viola and sung in various ensembles as a side musician over the years, their recent joining forces to regularly perform and record music together has resulted in a compelling, poignant sound that is both timeless and fresh.
