Band Bio: Paul Blanchard, son of the enigmatic country singer Saratoga Red, is proud to announce the release of his long awaited solo album, Side Yard Barking. After a six year hiatus, Paul returned to his home studio to produce his fourth full length project, which is currently set to hit the internet January 6, 2009. Side Yard Barking is all about the songs and the music. From the humorously poignant (if not esoteric) metaphor of the title track, to the weightiness of Worthless Tramp, the album was produced with a minimalist approach, free from over-production and not a lot of "studio trickery". The sound is purely organic as a result, which allows the songs to speak for themselves. Paul is also working in collaboration with long time friend and co-writer Rick Fontaine on a separate project, under the working title of Shapeshifting due to be completed in October, 2009.   Read Less »
