Band Bio: Drawing on backgrounds ranging from a cappella to intimate coffeehouses, Pesky J. Nixon offers the rare combination of guitar, accordion and djembe ... this instrumentation, coupled with their tight harmonies, makes for a sound and experience uniquely their own. They can be found bouncing around New England at campfires, coffeehouses, festivals, Unitarian Church basements, and the streets of Boston, New York, and Portland.
In September of 2008, Pesky J. Nixon released their first album "Good Grief". Recorded around campfires, in venue backrooms and on stages like the Paradise Lounge in Boston Massachusetts, Good Grief is a collection of twelve songs written by Pesky J. Nixon and close friends.
