Band Bio: born in a den of wolves somewhere north and raised by saints in the hills of madison county, pierce edens was thrown into singing when all else failed. his voice, stubborn as himself, refused to pretty up, so he sucked it up and dealt out some low blows. that's when he decided he needed some help preaching to the fallen, and in came david mack. soon after, michael olivier joined on bass. then one cold night, left to the streets and his vices, matt smith fell into pierce's living room, and the dirty work were born.
it was nearly a year before the boys made it in to the silvermine studios in marshall, nc with the likes of adam johnson [toubab krewe, allison krause, jesus] to track out their first full-length album, partydress. months later, it was released into the wild and can now be heard on wncw [voted top 20 cds in region] in western nc and wdvx in knoxville.
here it is, 2008, and the plans are for them to enter another studio, again with adam johnson, and blow out another barn burner. expect nothing.
