Band Bio: Piranah continues to gain recognition with every show and spin on the air waves. Nominated for best metal band 2 years in a row at Nashville’s FM rock station 102.9 The Buzz and being 2008’s 12 most requested local band out of over 400 plus bands in Nashville and surrounding mid state areas, Piranah is making tracks. The guys followed that up in 2009 by being crowned 102.9 Buzz battle champs for 3 months in a row and placing 17th out of 13,179 acts in the Toyota Music Rock This Space competition. With increased shows in the southeast and quotes from heavy hitters like Dave Ellefson (F5/Megadeth) and hard rock personality Metal Sanaz, look for the band to break it wide open in 2010.
