Band Bio: Risa is originally from Forest Hills , Queens , New York but ended up in Manchester , England . Alumni from her High School include Paul Simon, Art Garfunkel, Leslie West and the Ramones , who Risa knew very well. After writing her first tune at 9 years old, she put her musical career in abeyance. Never forgetting her first love of music, Risa picked up her guitar once more and wrote the EP, Apple Tarte which received critical acclaim. She will be recording her first album, Glass Half?... with Nigel Stonier (Thea Gilmore, Rod Clements, etc) and drummer Paul Burgess (Jethro Tull/10cc).
