Band Bio: With over 16 yrs as a producer/DJ on the underground scene, Salah Ananse's talent has put him on bills with notable DJ's such as Vikter Duplaix, & ?uestlove & opening DJ spots for artists such as Dave Chappelle & The Roots. As a producer, his rhythmic instrumentation and smooth layered vocals make his sound unique and distinguishable among the rest. Although noticed for a remix for Jill Scott's "Cross My Mind" and "Something New" from the New Sound Theory compilation both of which received underground airplay, he has for the most part remained quiet with solo projects. His 2 new projects scheduled for release late 2009 are Late Night Affair which features numerous collaborations & Ananse Scales, a collab project with Mausiki Scales.   Read Less »
