Shanghai Thrills draws on the best of modern rock trends without sounding derivative or recycled, blending grunge rock and classic metal. Intense and energetic, their emotionally charged live show draws comparisons to Nirvana and Foo Fighters has earned Shanghai Thrills performances at the Vans Warped Tour and SXSW Festival.
Shanghai Thrills has booked three national tours since forming in 2007, including gigs at the The Gothic Theater in Colorado, Seattle's Showbox, and Viper Room in L.A. This spring, the band is releasing their second EP, Carlos, recorded in their hometown of Boston. Every weekend, Shanghai Thrills can be found turning a basement into a ballroom or ballroom into a basement.
