Band Bio: A keen musician from a young age the half Scottish half English producer, skimatix aka James Kerr Lawrie has been playing guitar since the tender age of 7 and writing music since the age of 10. His first tunes were a fusion of acid jazz, hip hop and drum and bass and experimental. it wasnt untill autumn of 2006 with the emerging dubstep scene that james started to find his voice. James in his final year of university directly engaged cardiff's burgeoning student population and launched MUD cardiff's first regular dubstep night.
