Band Bio: Since he first picked up a guitar, Stanmore Phoenix has experimented with many genres. By fusing acoustic folk-rock with alternative influences he has created an edgy and unique style. Drawing inspiration from some of the greatest musicians in recent times: David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Chris Martin & Ryan Adams, He has created a familiar yet compellingly unique sound which has often been compared to that of Radiohead, Jeff Buckley and Silverchair. Set to simple & intricate melodies, his lyrics are honest, bittersweet and seek to find hope within despair, something we can all relate to.
