Band Bio: Steve was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Steve's family is musical and his neighbourhood was rich in musical talent. His next door neighbour was Duane Pond of The Diamond Trio and the legendary Aubrey Hanson lived nearby. They along with Steve’s musical family inspired and shaped his musical interests. Steve’s first public performance was at the age of 12 at the Orange Hall in Durham Bridge. Steve performed in and around the Fredericton, Boiestown and Doaktown areas. After graduating Fredericton High and Moncton Community College. Steve moved to Saint John where he performed with many local country acts in and around the greater Saint John area and other areas of New Brunswick. Steve then formed the Highway 40 Blues country band which was popular in the area for many years and was the opening act for the Freddy Fender concert in Saint John. From there Steve joined the Lost Highway Band where he has performed and co-managed the band for the last 19 years and still manages the band today. In 2004 Steve began to explore his song writing and sound recording interests and in In 2006 Steve released his first solo CD "Hurtn' On Old Memories" with six original compositions and six country classics. His music was met with good reviews and he has had good success with his composition "Just Can't Face the Truth" being selected for a Canadian promotional compilation CD with TEASouth. His songs have been received well on local radio stations and have charted on several online radio stations.
