Band Bio: When people hear the name Sticky Fuzz, many things come to mind, but the real sound and feel of this band is truly summed up in the name. While adhering to the funky, Sticky, grooved-based rock of The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lenny Kravitz, the band also exhibits the Fuzzy and distorted sounds of Jane’s Addiction and Living Colour. Sticky Fuzz is comprised of four seasoned musicians who have played in such other bands as Sun 5 Band, Torn, Odd One Out and Subtropic. Over the past couple of months, the Boston-based rock band has jumped swiftly into the local spotlight with a live performance that gets everyone hot and sweaty. If you’re lucky enough to be in the front row, a lot of that sweat will probably come from the band members themselves. These guys love getting the fans involved any way possible. Whether it’s band members jumping into the crowd, or the lead singer getting the whole place to sing along with the lyrics, this band is most comfortable when they interact with their audience. The Band motto is: “Let’s get Sticky!” Sticky Fuzz has been playing the Boston club scene with praise and acollades from their growing fan base.
