Band Bio: We started lucky, catching a wave that still makes it feel like we just got out of high school. In the late 70’s, the Hates helped to define a sound. And even though we’re sixteen recordings old, we’ve achieved something of a cult status while still untapping a lexicon of riffage. And that’s the way we like it. We still feel that raw, primal energy that is the lifeblood of an underground band every time we play. In the last year, the polemic 30 Years of Hate was released to remind the world that the confrontational first stirrings of “We are a punk band!” is still fresh on our minds.
