Band Bio: I started playing banjo when I was 12,I thought it was cool so I practiced a lot and got good. I won the national banjo contest, joined a touring band, quit art school, got a solo record deal with Rounder Records and started recording my own albums. I recorded and toured with lots of bluegrass folks then quit that. Then I started playing slide guitar and singing and writing songs. 14 albums later, Ive just released Deep Water, produced by Sean Slade (Radiohead, Dresden Dolls).   Read Less »
