Band Bio: Music with a Soul In October 2008, after ten years performing in bands and solo, singer/songwriters Bryson VanCleve (originally from Arkansas) and Jill Marie (southern California native) formed the soul singing duo Troubaduo. Feeling a bit out of place in L.A.'s pop/techno scene, where the two had been writing, recording, and performing for five years, in April 2009 they decided to hit the road with their acoustics full time. Currently touring 9 months out of the year, this dynamic husband/wife team writes artistic Americana, folk, blues, sunshine pop, rock, psychedelic, gospel, soul, and jazz, with an emphasis on lyrics.
