Band Bio: Venus in Motion is the creation of Angel Johnson. The debut album, Walking in Limbo, released in 2007 was signed to Spain’s largest independent record label, Blanco y Negro. It earned admiration from Ibiza’s leading names for the white Isle’s famed, magical sunsets. It also featured one of the only tracks to gain family support from the estate of Bob Marley – for This Woman, a stunning interpretation of No Woman No Cry.
The music itself is inspired by jazz, soul, folk, reggae and dub. The tracks distinctively weave together the sounds from long term collaborators like guitarist Tony Dallas and Chris Bucknall on keyboards… sweetly elevated by the awesome vocal talents of Siobhan Lynch, Naomi Moss and Cheryl Marshall.
