End Paycheck Inequality
Too many women in this country are getting paid less than they should be. If our leaders really want to stimulate the economy, they should boost women's paychecks by making sure they can earn an equal wage for equal work. Sign the petition and tell your Senators to help end paycheck inequality.

Believing in equality is believing the truth
No one is "better" than anyone else, to say otherwise would be an act of sheer idiocy. Tolerance and compatriotship is the only true way forward. Sorry that does sound slightly cliched but I believe it to be true.
Treat all people equally.
Why pick on somebody when they have nothing to do with you or are mentally challenged or are a different color and have a different religion. That is just pitiful if you don't have anything better to do don't do anything at all.Love all color and people equally.
In 31 states, you can be fired solely because you're gay - and if you're transgender, that's 39 states.
You love your job. Your supervisors give you top ratings. Then, one day, a colleague finds out you're gay. A week later, you find your desk emptied into a box. You're fired. The reason? Your sexual orientation. Here's the worst part: firing you for being gay was 100% legal. It's an outrage. In 31 states, you can be fired solely because you're gay - and if you're transgender, that's 39 states. After years spent laying the groundwork, the Human Rights Campaign is poised to end this injustice by helping pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). This vital legislation is likely to come up for a vote in Congress in the coming weeks - and we need your voice. Tell your Representative to stand up for GLBT equality in the workplace before the House votes this month!
Just be tolerant.
No one is expecting everyone to all of sudden start loving everyone. You can dislike people, but please don't hate people just for their race.

Why I support this cause

We are all alike in one way or another. If we learn to Respect each other and Accept our differences our earth can be a better place for our generations to follow. Don't be racist and don't be prejudice. What kind of example are you setting?

Maybe once people learn to look around and see that we're all the same in many ways, there won't be black men lying bleeding in the streets after being beaten by a gang, women afraid to reveal that they are in love because they would be alienated and spit upon by their own families, people wearing swastikas and saying that the Holocuast was actually a righteous cleansing movement, and people denying that many of the things america does are just the same. Killing another human being is killing another human being, and maybe soon we'll all be human enough to stop it.

Sweeping darkness envelopes all; Comfort, shrouded dreams, mixed reality with Divine, Sweet unconsciousness Absent race, class, caste (just darkness) Pure connection, voiceless (just darkness) Voided hate, closed probing eyes Swift nightfall casts tall shadows Over man, woman, child-- Each the same to each

If one day we all saw ourselves as being equal then things would be better in our nation and around the world. I can't even begin to list the reasons why I support this cause... but one is that I WANT EQUALITY FOR ALL BEINGS.

Why this cause matters...

Equality matters, because it is what people of this generation - let alone previous generations and ones to come - deserve. There are people of different orientation, race, religion, class, gender, the list goes on. We should all be able to recieve the same rights as others. We all need to work together to being society to realize that everyone is different, and that everyone deserves the same amount of repect!
